BLACK FRIDAY 2025: HOW MISBLACK LEADERSHIP OF MANUFACTURED BOYCOTTS FAILED AND COLONIZED BLACK CONSUMERS HELPED CONTRIBUTE TO $79B FOR MAJORITY WHITE COMPANIES
Black Friday 2025 exposed a truth many refuse to confront: without economic sovereignty, every “boycott” led by mid-tier, misaligned leadership becomes performance instead of power. While timelines echoed empty calls to “shut it down,” propaganda-driven digital marketing guided behavior. In the end, consumption overwhelmed consciousness.

The data is undeniable:
• $11.8 billion in U.S. online spending — the largest digital shopping day in American history.
• $79 billion worldwide — the majority flowing to white-owned corporations with global reach.
• Physical store traffic fell 3.6%, proving colonization has shifted from storefronts to screens.
• Mobile devices drove over half of all purchases — colonization now fits in the palm of the hand.//Every manufactured boycott collapsed because it lacked infrastructure, strategy, and sovereign economics. No independent supply chain. No unified command. No community-owned marketplaces. No serious leadership. A boycott inside someone else’s economy is not resistance — it is ritualized frustration.
Marketing replaced movement. Influencers replaced organizers.Hashtags replaced strategy.
Dependency replaced discipline.

Colonized consumers behaved exactly as the system engineered them to: spending billions with corporations that have never reinvested equivalent value into their communities. This is not a failure of the people — it is the predictable outcome of centuries of spiritual disruption, economic dependence, and psychological programming.
Real transformation begins when the community builds what it needs instead of begging systems designed to exploit them. Until then, Black Friday will remain the annual ceremony where billions exit the Black world and enrich the very empires that manufactured the problem
Maybe w e should get Trump to impose tariffs on corporate America on behalf of Black people.
